CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE VOLLEY,

CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE VOLLEY 

  • 16 Clubs combined compete in rounds 1 to 3 on a home and away format (R1,R2,R3) to obtain the last 2 spots available in round 4
     

  • 18 Clubs per gender are automatically seeded in round 4 as per the CEV Champions League ranking
     

  • Round 4 features a pool stage system including 5 pools of 4 teams per gender. Each participating Club plays 6 matches (3 home matches / 3 away matches)
     

  • The 8 best Clubs (most matches won)  reach the quarter-finals based on a home/away format
     

  • This is followed by the semi-finals stage on a home and away format and the Super Finals

  • The same format for both Men's and Women's
     

CEV VOLLEYBALL CUP 

  • Maximum 32 Clubs per gender compete in 1/16 finals
     

  • 16 winning Clubs then play 1/8 finals always on a home and away  format followed by !/4 finals, 1/2 finals and finals
     

  • All played on “Knock-out",  home and away match format

  • The same format for both Men's and Women's

CEV VOLLEYBALL  CHALLENGE CUP 

  • Maximum 64 Clubs per gender compete in early qualification round on knock-out format
     

  • Winning teams then proceed to 1/16 finals – 1/8 finals – 1/4 finals –1/2  finals and finals also on a knock-out format

  • The same format for both Men's and Women's

  • Men's and Women's Champions League Volley, CEV Volleyball Cup and Volleyball Challenge Cup matches played Tuesday to Thursday
     

  • Games generally start at 18.00 and 20.30 Local Time
     

  • Season starts in October and ends in May with the Champions League Super Finals
