    SCHEDULING

    The Volleyball European Golden and Silver Leagues are generally played in May and June, with the Final Four / Finals played at the end of June.​

    (3 matches – 1 for the Men and 2 for the Women)*

    Final Phase Men​

    Due to the limited number of participating teams, the Final Phase will include one match only. The match will be hosted by the highest ranked team after the end of the League Round and will feature the first and second ranked teams according to the final standing of the League Round.​

    Final Phase Women​

    No semi-final matches will be played. Only the Final Home & Away matches will be played between the first and second ranked teams according to the final standing of the League Round.​

    2. Competition Format​
    League Phase​

    • Each team hosts one of the three-day tournaments (Friday to Sunday) with two opponents​
    • Each team will play six matches in total with just as many different opponents​
    Final Phase​
    • Final Four Tournament or Home & Away matches
    • The winner and the runner-up of the Golden League automatically qualify to the FIVB Challenger Cup
