BROADCASTER SERVICING
A dedicated team co-ordinates operations on-site and builds the link between broadcasters and the production operation.

Successful digital strategy includes a full range of clips, animations, ballots, games, apps and user-generated content across social and digital channels.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Held over two weeks (three weekends) in May each year.
World’s 16 best national ice hockey teams play a total of 64 games.
Each national team plays 7 games in the preliminary round.
The top 4 teams in each group advance directly to the quarter-finals.

CONSIDERATIONS
Broadcast obligations: at least all games of the national team of the territory, all quarter-finals, semi-finals and medal games.
Sponsor obligations: broadcaster to offer main sponsors first negotiation and last refusal for official main sponsorship and/or commercial airtime, on a product category exclusivity basis.
